Triple Stroke Roll
Three even strokes per hand — bounce control heaven.

Big letter = full stroke · filled = accent. Notation reads as on a practice-pad sheet: accents marked >, slashed small notes are grace notes, z on the stem is a buzz. R rings higher than L, so you can hear the hands.

What it is
Three strokes per hand, alternating. Where doubles use one rebound, triples use two, so the third stroke exposes any hand that is not letting the stick do the work.
How to practise it
- Play the three strokes with one wrist motion and two rebounds, not three separate hits.
- Even volume across all three is the test. The third note is usually the weak one.
- Start where every stroke is deliberate, around 60–80 BPM, and only speed up when it feels boring. When it is clean, take it to the tempo trainer and let trainer mode climb from where you are.
