Four doubles into the accent — a full beat of roll.

What it is
Four doubles into an accent: a full beat of roll in sixteenths, landing on the next downbeat. Alternating lead.
How to practise it
- Sixteenth notes for one beat, accent on the next. Count "1 e & a, 2".
- If the doubles tighten as you go, you are speeding up. The metronome will tell you.
- Start where every stroke is deliberate, around 60–80 BPM, and only speed up when it feels boring. When it is clean, take it to the tempo trainer and let trainer mode climb from where you are.
