Community terms
The Rig Vault is built by its members. These terms keep it a place worth building. By creating an account, posting, or uploading anything to Drum Faster, you agree to them.
Your content, your responsibility
You are solely responsible and accept full liability for everything you upload or post — photos, bios, gear lists and comments. By uploading content you confirm that:
- You own the content or have the right to share it. In particular,only upload photos you took yourself or have permission to use — don't upload photographers' shots, press photos, album artwork or images found online without the rights-holder's permission.
- Your content doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights, and isn't unlawful, defamatory or abusive.
- You grant Drum Faster a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and share the content as part of the site (that's what makes your page publicly visible).
If a claim arises from something you posted, it's yours: you agree to indemnify Drum Faster against claims, damages and costs arising from your content.
House rules
- Keep it about drums and drummers. Be decent to each other.
- Pages about real drummers must be factual, respectful, and clearly fan-documented — don't impersonate anyone or claim endorsement.
- No spam, advertising, or link-dropping in comments.
Copyright complaints & takedown
If you believe content on Drum Faster infringes your copyright, tell us and we will act promptly. Use the ⚑ Report link on the page in question (no account needed). To help us act fast, include:
- which photo or content you mean (the report is tied to the page);
- identification of the original work and your rights in it (owner, licensee, or authorised agent), with a link to the original where possible;
- your contact email, so we can follow up and confirm removal.
We review copyright reports as a priority and remove or disable access to infringing content expeditiously. Where the uploader is known, we may tell them what was removed and why. Knowingly false reports may carry legal consequences for the sender.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content will be terminated. Every upload is tied to the account that posted it, so infringement is always attributable.
Moderation
We may remove any content or account at any time, for any reason — including rights complaints. Page owners can delete comments on their own pages. Reports of non-copyright problems (abuse, spam, impersonation) go through the same ⚑ Report link and are reviewed promptly.
The practical bits
Accounts use email sign-in only; we store what you post plus your email and username. Gear links across the site are affiliate links — purchases may earn Drum Faster a commission at no extra cost to you. These terms may change as the community grows; continued use means acceptance of the current version.
