DW Collector's Series
DW's flagship — the built-to-order maple, cherry and exotic kits behind half the rock rigs in the vault, and what makes a Collector's shell worth it.
The Collector's Series is where DW puts everything it knows. Shells are built to order and timbre-matched ply by ply, in maple, cherry or whatever exotic the customer talks them into, and the finishes have become collectible in their own right. It is the range that turned a Californian pedal workshop into the drum company touring rock bands default to.
Our Rig Vault data makes the case better than any brochure: Collector's kits and snares turn up under Neil Peart, Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Travis Barker, Tommy Lee and Eric Moore — more documented rigs than any other DW series. Every item below links to who plays it, reader reviews and the right shop for your region.
