Yamaha EAD
The EAD10 — a stereo mic and a kick trigger on one bar, turning any acoustic kit into a recording rig.
The EAD10 does something no other module does. It clips to your bass drum hoop, listens to the whole acoustic kit through a stereo mic pair, adds a trigger for the kick, and hands you a mixed, effected, recordable stereo signal out of one box. No mic locker, no interface, no rethinking your kit.
That is why it has become the default for drummers filming at home: El Estepario Siberiano and ZackGrooves both run one, and both rigs are documented in the Rig Vault below. Our full EAD10 guide is here too, along with reader reviews and regional buy links.
