Made with Rob Cavallo, the producer behind Dookie and American Idiot, and it leans hard into that big, dry, close-miked drum sound — which is what Drumeo's Drum Recording Of The Year award was really recognising. The SJC leopard-print kit is the one most fans picture; he has since returned to the Ludwig family.
