Craviotto’s new showroom is now open. It welcomed the public on 1 October, according to a report from Drumming News Network.

The company calls it the Craviotto Showroom Experience. It sits at Craviotto’s headquarters in Nashville, inside the factory itself. So what’s in there? Let’s find out.

What’s in the showroom?

There are handcrafted Craviotto kits and snare drums on display, plus some accessories, some merch and a lounge area to sit and talk drums.

When Craviotto first announced the project in November 2025, president Steve Maxwell described a 1,200-square-foot room. It would hold dozens of snares and kits in a range of woods, finishes and hardware, for both dealers and players to see, play and compare. Because it’s in the workshop, factory tours were part of the plan too.

The opening report presents the room as a tribute to founder Johnny Craviotto, whose solid-shell drums made the name.

Why does it matter?

High-end boutique drums can be hard to try before you buy. A good snare is a very personal thing, so playing a few side by side is worth a great deal.

There’s one caveat. The 2025 announcement also promised two more things: showroom sales would credit full dealer margins to the buyer’s nearest dealer, and the space would double as a content hub making videos for dealers and social media. We haven’t been able to confirm that either has started.

Craviotto hasn’t announced visiting arrangements or prices in this news. Check craviottodrums.com before you plan a trip.

Final thoughts

A boutique maker opening its doors is lovely to see. It’s the same idea as British Drum Co.’s planned viewing platform: let people see where their drums come from.

What we don’t know yet: the date of the grand opening celebration promised in 2025, and whether the dealer-credit scheme and content hub are up and running.
