Paiste Signature
Paiste's own bronze alloy — the bright, complex studio range Danny Carey's setup is built on.
Launched in 1989, the Signature series introduced a bronze alloy Paiste developed and kept to itself, and you can hear the difference: more shimmer and complexity than the 2002 without losing Paiste's trademark clarity. It became the studio cymbal of the 90s, and the family has since grown to take in Dark Energy, the Traditionals and the Reflector finishes.
In the Rig Vault it is Danny Carey's range — the 14" Sound Edge hi-hats, the Power Crashes and the 22" Dry Heavy Ride that carry Tool's setup are all documented below, with Eric Moore's Dark Energy hats alongside them. Every item links through to the drummer who plays it and regional buy links.
