2024 — The teaching rig

A conventional setup for entirely unconventional technique. Nothing here needs a specific kit — push-pull, slide and dual grip are hand mechanics, and a pad will do for all three. A lighter, better-balanced stick makes finger-driven technique considerably easier, which is the one gear choice that actually matters.
