Caleb Hayes's drum kit and setup

A young English drummer, self-taught from the age of two, playing fast and clean rock and metal in the lineage of Joey Jordison and Jay Weinberg. Took a main stage slot at the UK Drum Show in Liverpool in October 2025, and Drumeo's Tony Williams Award for that year.

2025 — The UK Drum Show year

He has played SJC since 2020, which happened the way these things should: Jay Weinberg gave him a snare drum and a double pedal at a Slipknot show in Birmingham, and the ten-year-old copying Weinberg's parts ended up on the brand his hero plays. The Roland sits alongside it, and makes sense for a young player working on this material at home — an electronic kit means you can practise blast beats in the afternoon without a noise complaint, which is a real constraint on anybody learning metal in a house. Exact shell sizes aren't published.
