Sabian Paragon
Co-designed with Neil Peart — the bright-yet-dark hybrid series built for The Professor's R30 setup.
Paragon is the series Sabian built with Neil Peart, launched in 2004 for Rush's 30th anniversary tour. Peart wanted the response of a bright cymbal with the complexity of a dark one, and Paragon's answer — pure B20 bronze, high-profile bells, a mix of peened and pinpoint lathing — became one of the great signature-series success stories.
The full Paragon setup Peart toured is exactly what you'll find documented in the Rig Vault below, from the 13" hi-hats to the 19" Chinese. If you're chasing his sound, each item links to who plays it and the right shop for your region — and the reader reviews will tell you what owners actually think.
